SAVE MONEY ON YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION NOW!

Find a
LOCAL number for your internet service provider. CALL your phone company and ask if the number you are using to connect to the internet is a local toll call under 8 miles. Why? Because calls over 8 miles are charged by the minute NOT BY THE CALL. True local calls should cost 5 cents. Calls over 8 miles are charged by the minute.

About 3 months ago I realized next to my rent my phone bill was the largest bill I paid every month . Local charges were $80.00 for
2000 minutes ? I had to find a way to reduce it! In a conversation with a friend of mine I mentioned my high phone bill from getting on the internet. He was astounded. And asked if I was calling a local number. I had to answer I didn't know. ( Since Ameritech screwed up the area codes in Chicago who can tell !)The next day I logged on to my ISP and found all my local (or what I thought was local access numbers). Next I called Ameritech and asked which number was closest. They couldn't say. So I asked which number was local for me. They could answer that! Only 1 number out of 6 was local and it was new. And it was in a different area code. So I used it for 1 month and checked my phone bill. It came to an astounding $10.51 for local service of 8000 minutes!

If you are using a local access number over 8 miles from you are being a willing victim of
increasing the profits for your phone company. Phone companies are in the business of making
MONEY. They are not in the business of doing the public any favors and decreasing their profits. Of course they support public events because these can be written off on the company taxes.
DO NOT LET YOUR MONEY BE TAKEN. MAKE THAT CALL NOW!

Just to make my point about profits. The phone company charged me 75 cents to make that call.

MAKE THAT CALL NOW!
